Who are Acision.

Acision is the world’s leading messaging company, providing communication solutions for over 300 network operators and service providers globally.

Project requirements.

Acision were in the process of breaking away from LogicaCMG and as such needed all their systems which included around eight hundred heavily customised SharePoint sites from Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

How did we help.

We assisted in migrating and upgrading all sites and content which consisted of around 150GB worth of data to new servers hosted in a new domain using both the built in backup and restore and the use of a third party application called Metalogix Migration Manager.

We scripted the whole process to help us move from development through to the production environment and developed some bespoke tools to facilitate the process.

We also carried out the branding on the site to customise the look and feel. The site also makes use of our People Search Web Part.
